This is a high intensity role and requires the ability of multitasking whilst keeping accurate records. The Medical Administrative Assistant supports the day to day of the administrative operations for the surgery.   • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in a Primary healthcare setting.
  • General understanding of medical terminology
  • Experience of working through multiple systems at the same time in a time-efficient manner, including Microsoft Office and clinical systems.
  • Effective organization and priority-setting of work and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and GDPR compliance
Desirable
  • Knowledge of NHS systems and procedures.
  • Experience with EMIS, Docman, or similar clinical software.
  • Experience working in a GP surgery or similar environment.
