- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to develop business cases; Manage projects through the required formal approval stages such business case approvals.
- Maintain Project Risks and Issue Logs.
- Liaise with Programme Managers and related projects to ensure that project deliverables are coordinated and duplication is avoided where possible.
- Participate fully in BSO quality initiatives particularly those involving ITS and specifically the application of ISO 20000;
- Use and compliance with the ITS service management processes for all service management activity.
- Plan and support service transition to customers and IT operational teams

- Secure the financial and other resources required for successful delivery of projects. Monitor overall progress and use of resources, initiating prompt and effective corrective action as and when necessary;
- Manage and monitor of all aspects of project budgets and expenditure throughout the project.
- Provide specialist advice, create strategies, options and a recommendation on strategies for the analysis and documentation of highly complex clinical and administrative workflows, information, data collection and/or reporting requirements.
- Lead in the analysis and documentation of complex clinical and administrative workflows, information, data collection and/or reporting requirements.
- Design, implementation and review of Authority specific configuration items to meet Authority requirements for the new system.
- Take a lead role in testing the system to ensure it is safe, usable, secure and robust.
- Provide specialist advice, guidance and training to less experienced colleagues.
- Create, develop and manage the analysis project plan in order to meet tight programme constraints and deadlines, sequencing activities logically.
- Allocation of analysis and investigative tasks, assign owners and delegate responsibility for analysis and requirements gathering to external, Authority and Trust staff.
- Lead and co-ordinate highly complex technical interdependency activities with other Major Programmes and external suppliers.
- Ensure compliance to Operation changes and change control mechanisms.
- Lead the business readiness activities for each implementation including communications, system enhancements to workflow and support arrangements.
- Three years proven experience in an ICT Business Analyst or equivalent role
- An expert knowledge of the principles of ICT Business Analysis including the ability to analyse, write and review complex technical documentation e.g. system specifications, technical reports.
- An understanding of the main principles of project management.
- Have worked with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
- Definition of test conditions and analysis and reporting of test activities and results.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel.
