- Undertake and manage:
- Civil/infrastructure project design management
- Drainage design (FRA, layouts, hydraulic calculations)
- Highway design (planning, local authority, highway authority)
- Levels (cut & fill, retaining walls, boundary constraints)
- Sectional agreements (S278, S38, and others with local authorities)
- Construction specifications and risk assessments
- Responding to site queries during construction
- Ensure designs meet quality, legislative, and client standards
- Provide commercial input to projects, including fee management and change control
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Support colleagues in delivering first-class, safe, and compliant services
- Contribute to business development and office growth
- Collaborate with clients, planning consultants, architects, project managers, and engineers
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies, standards, and policies
- Strong civil engineering design and coordination skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, and project teams
- Commitment to professional development, ideally working toward CEng, MICE
- Ability to define scope of works, manage client expectations, and deliver to timescales
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills
