Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possibleWe are seeking passionate Cover Supervisors to join a dynamic team at a Secondary school in West Sussex. This school provides exceptional education for students aged 11-19.About the Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will be instrumental in supporting students' academic growth. Working alongside teachers, whist they cannot be in class, creating a learning environment that enables students to thrive academically and personally.Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students, ensuring their understanding and engagement.
- Delivering differentiated lesson plans and learning resources planned by the teacher.
- Providing one-on-one and small group interventions to reinforce key concepts.
- Tailoring support for students, helping them overcome learning challenges.
- Monitoring student progress and reporting on development to help shape ongoing support strategies.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel supported in their educational journey.
- Strong proficiency in Maths and English (up to GCSE level).
- Experience working with students as a TA or similar.
- A genuine passion for helping students succeed, with patience, empathy, and adaptability.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
