EYFS Teaching Assistant – NN2 Area (Northampton)Location: NN2, Northampton
Hours: Full-Time, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Do you have experience supporting young children in a nursery or school setting?A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the NN2 area of Northampton is looking to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team as soon as possible. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing, play-based learning environment and enjoys supporting the developmental needs of young children.The Role:Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and/or Reception)Assisting with phonics, play-based learning, and early development activitiesHelping to set up and tidy learning areas indoors and outdoorsProviding social and emotional support to childrenWorking closely with the class teacher and EYFS teamRequirements:Experience working with young children in an EYFS settingA caring, proactive and enthusiastic approachStrong understanding of early childhood developmentAbility to work well as part of a teamDBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)Desirable:Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years qualificationExperience with phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and SoundsPaediatric First Aid (preferred but not essential)What We Offer:A supportive and friendly school environmentOpportunities for professional development and trainingCompetitive daily rate, paid weeklyPotential for a long-term or permanent roleInterested?
