Are you a children's Speech and Language Therapist looking for a new challenge, to further your career and gain valuable management experience?Due to promotion and retirement within the service we're advertising an exciting opportunity for two Band 7 Children's Speech and Language Therapy Team Leaders, for our Complex Needs Team and Mainstream Schools Team. The Speech & Language Therapy Service is going through a period of transformation and you have the chance to take a key role in leading this change, supported by senior management.   • Provide clear professional leadership, governance and operational management to the teams.
  • Demonstrate compassionate leadership and empathy to support the teams and the families of the children we work with.
  • Utilise well-developed time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Apply creativity and problem-solving to manage a range of issues.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide management supervision to senior members of the teams.
  • Maintain high standards within the teams to enable the provision of safe and effective care.
  • Demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills with colleagues.
