- Prepare and organise legal documentation, correspondence, and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations and briefing materials.
- Support data protection compliance tasks, including document reviews, processing logs, and internal checklists.
- Assist with the coordination of data subject access requests (DSARs) and other GDPR-related processes.
- Help monitor and track data protection obligations and timelines.
- Conduct legal research on relevant legislation, regulations, and case law as required.
- Track changes in laws and regulations affecting the company’s operations, particularly in the areas of data protection, marketing, and general commercial law.
- Prepare summaries and reports to assist legal decision-making.
- Assist with compliance reviews of marketing materials and campaigns.
- Research industry trends, competitor practices, and regulatory guidelines for marketing and advertising.
- Provide basic risk assessments from a legal perspective on marketing initiative
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field (or relevant experience in a legal support role).
- Previous experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role preferred.
- Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection principles is a plus.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong research and writing abilities.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools (e.g., Practical Law Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.
