- Setting and operating cnc turning machines
- Using Fanuc controls for programming
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Manage your own workload with jobs allocated from the production manager
- Machining precision engineering parts producing small batches and medium size batches to tight tolerances but not aerospace.
- You are likely to have experience in producing machined parts from engineering drawings.
- cnc turning experience with Fanuc controls
- Precision engineering but not aerospace machining mainly with stainless steel
- The successful candidate may have served an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled machinist, however candidates who are time served in machining could also be suitable if they can demonstrate a suitable track record in cnc machining and cnc turning
Salary: £18.00 per hour or £36,504 + overtime, profit share
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, free parking & pension
Hours: 39 Monday to Friday earlier finish Friday
