- Providing the initial contact and support service for internal and external customers, providing advice in response to a range of technical, legal and regulatory queries.
- Checking information and entering data into back-office systems, particularly in relation to the registering and processing of Building Regulations applications, and to run associated reports as may be necessary or required.
- Provision of technical administrative support including typing, computer input support, training in software use and report generation, to meet performance indicators.
- Ensuring the efficient processing of applications and the correct calculation of charges levied. This will involve the interpretation of construction plans and specifications.
- To assist with the development and use of the IT administration software.
