As an Assistant Development Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial and commercial insights to support development finance activities. Your focus will be on managing project ledgers and aligning financial processes with operational objectives.Provide specialised financial support for housing and commercial property development projects.Deliver insightful financial advice to project managers through strong business partnering.Monitor and enhance financial performance within the development and sales functions.Collaborate with Treasury and Appraisal teams to support data-led decision-making.Build and maintain effective relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders.Continuously improve financial reporting processes to meet the changing needs of the development team.Opportunity to work for a leading housing developer in LondonOpportunity to join a stable and growing finance team
  • Part-qualified and actively progressing toward ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA
  • Solid understanding of VAT treatment in property/construction schemes
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Power BI & Dynamics 365
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for contributing to operational discussions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines
