- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal postings.
- Support monthly variance analysis and provide insightful commentary.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather financial information and resolve queries.
- Manage the end-to-end UK billing process, including preparing, obtaining sign-off, and sending project and monthly retainer invoices.
- Ensure all retainers and projects are supported by appropriate contracts, SOWs, or written client approval; follow up with non-finance colleagues as needed.
- Update and maintain the weekly billing schedule.
- Conduct monthly project billing audits to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Set up TEAM LEWIS as a new vendor on online invoicing portals for major clients.
- Follow up on missing project bills and anomalies with finance colleagues.
- Oversee UK credit control: chase outstanding payments, escalate problem debts, and circulate the fortnightly UK Debt Report. Maintain awareness of client size, jurisdiction, and risk, and perform credit checks as appropriate.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Support audit processes by preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries.
- Assist with the year-end audit process and manage the archiving system.
- Compile ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.
- Act as a cultural ambassador for the region, promoting finance initiatives and activities via social media and internal channels.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems, practices, and policies.
- Provide cover for team members during absences.
- Add and maintain project and task codes in the timesheet system.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties and project work as required.
- At least 1+ year(s) of relevant experience
- Part-qualified professional (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)

- Strong attention to detail
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
