  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum for English.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities:
  • Planning and delivering engaging English lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and recording student progress.
  • Providing constructive feedback to students to support their learning.
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participating in departmental and whole-school meetings.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school, such as through extracurricular activities.
  • Staying up-to-date with educational developments and curriculum changes.
  • Upholding the school's policies and ethos.
