Pertemps is seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist Specialist Practitioner to join the dynamic Achieving for Children service, supporting children and young people with disabilities across Kingston and Richmond.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions, contributing to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and undertaking Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) assessments.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist occupational therapy support to children and young people with disabilities.
- Complete detailed EHCP reports and contribute to statutory assessments.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
- Conduct functional, sensory, and environmental assessments to support participation and independence.
- Engage with families, carers, and education settings to implement tailored intervention plans.
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Previous paediatric OT experience within a local authority, NHS, or education setting.
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills, particularly for EHCPs.
- Experience working in MDT settings.
