Are you ready to lead?We’re seeking a driven and experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join our growing Mission Critical team in Southampton, delivering cutting-edge Data Centre projects across the UK and internationally.Our global engineering teams have delivered over €20bn in data centre infrastructure, supporting over 20 major campuses across 11 countries. From hyperscale cloud facilities to edge computing hubs, we’re trusted by the world’s biggest tech companies to design the electrical systems that power the digital world.Your Impact:As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead the electrical design and delivery of high-performance, high-availability data centre projects. You’ll work in collaboration with world-class engineers, architects, and clients, driving technical excellence from concept through to commissioning.What You’ll Be Doing:Lead electrical engineering design across all project stages—from feasibility and concept design through to construction and commissioningDeliver robust LV and MV electrical systems, including power distribution, backup systems, UPS, lighting, and containmentManage and mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teamsEnsure designs meet client specifications, project requirements, and industry standardsOversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standardsAct as a key client contact—building trusted relationships and ensuring successful outcomesSupport bids, team resourcing, and technical development across the teamWhat We’re Looking For:Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldChartered Engineer status (or working towards CEng)Strong experience in electrical design for Data Centres, critical infrastructure, or large-scale commercial/industrial projectsProficiency in tools such as Amtech, Dialux, Revit, and AutoCADExcellent understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (BS7671, IEC, etc.)Clear communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallelWhy Join Us?Work on globally significant projects with leading-edge technologiesBe part of an inclusive, supportive, and forward-thinking cultureFlexible hybrid working based in Southampton, with competitive salary and benefitsReal opportunities for progression and leadership development
