– Process subject access requests in line with the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
– Redact third-party and sensitive information to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
– Liaise with internal departments to obtain relevant documentation.
– Maintain accurate records of requests, responses, and actions taken.
– Provide guidance and advice on information governance and data protection matters.
– Ensure all information handling practices adhere to council policies and procedures.Essential Criteria:
– Degree in social work.
– Current Social Work England Registration.
– Successful completion of ASYE.
– Previous experience in records management, data protection, or a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
– Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive data securely.
– Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
