DescriptionJob Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Nelson (Multiple Schools) Contract Type: Flexible, Casual Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a reliable and flexible Cover Supervisor to work across multiple secondary schools in Nelson. This role offers a flexible, casual position where you'll be required to cover various schools within the area. The hours and shifts will vary based on the daily and weekly needs of the schools, and work is not guaranteed. You must be comfortable with early morning calls for day-to-day cover, and be willing to travel to different school locations as required. No week will be the same, and flexibility is key.Key Responsibilities: * Provide day-to-day cover across multiple schools within the Nelson area, overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher

Follow provided lesson plans and ensure students remain on task and complete set work
Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment at all times
Support students with additional learning needs, where applicable, and provide assistance as required
Be proactive in dealing with behaviour management issues and maintaining control in the classroom
Be prepared for early morning calls and be willing to travel between different school locations daily

Qualifications and Experience: * Experience working with secondary school students (desirable)

Confidence in managing lessons independently and handling behaviour management issues
Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills
A flexible attitude and willingness to travel to different school locations in East Lancashire
Ability to remain professional and adaptable in different school environments
Own transport is essential due to the nature of the role
