- Lead and manage a team of Lawyers, Professional Officers, and Assistant Professional Officers.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of legal work delivered within Adult Social Care.
- Allocate, supervise, and deliver complex, high-profile legal matters.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency within the team.
- Recruit, train, and develop your team to meet service and business goals.
- Provide expert advocacy and representation at court, committees, boards, and panels.
- Collaborate across the Legal Leadership Team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective legal services.
- A recognised legal qualification (Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEX) with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a legal team in a complex public sector environment.
- Deep understanding of adult social care law and statutory services.
- Strong skills in legal risk assessment, case management systems, and delivering high-quality, value-led legal services.
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums, with the ability to advocate and represent effectively.
- A track record of recruiting, developing, and inspiring legal professionals to achieve service and business goals.
