We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our friendly and supportive team at the Langton Grange Medical Group. The candidate will have previous experience in general practice.This role is suitable for both experienced ACPs and those who have recently qualified.This role will involve working at all our three sites within Langton grange Medical Group: Lichfield, Whittington and Burntwood.The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care, working autonomously to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of acute, minor, and long-term conditions. You will manage patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed issues carrying out full clinical assessments, initiating treatment plans, prescribing, and evaluating care in line with national guidelines.You will also contribute to the ongoing development and innovation of the practice, playing an active role in service improvement and patient care delivery.*access to NHS fleet/salary sacrifice**Access to extra shifts through enhanced access*Main duties of the jobProvide expert clinical assessment and diagnosis for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed, and complex health problems.Initiate, evaluate, and review treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice.Manage a range of acute, minor, and long-term conditions independently, referring to or liaising with GPs or secondary care where appropriate.Undertake comprehensive physical assessments, using advanced clinical skills and decision-making.Perform and interpret relevant investigations, such as blood tests, ECGs, and other diagnostic procedures.Promote preventative healthcare and offer patient education, self-care advice, and health promotion.Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care, continuity, and efficiency.Contribute to clinical governance, audits, significant event analysis, and the development of local policies and protocols.Participate in service development and innovation, supporting quality improvement initiatives across the practice.Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.Support junior staff and students through mentoring, supervision, and education where applicableWork within local policies, procedures and guidelines.About usWe are a well-established General Practice based in Lichfield, serving a patient population of approximately 13,500 across three sites: Lichfield, Whittington, and Burntwood.
