- This is an excellent position to gain some hands on experience working directly with vulnerable students in the classroom.
- These young students struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD and various other developmental disorders.
- As a learning support assistant you will directly be involved in helping children manage and cope with their emotions and mental health whilst also being involved in their learning and development.
- These young people need someone who can facilitate a positive and safe environment for them to learn and grow.
- You will gain valuable experience in the sector and have the chance to shadow other professionals in the field.
- The role would suit someone who is resilient and confident in supporting young people with challenging mental health needs.
