The Senior Presentations Manager, EMEA leads the Columbia Threadneedle EMEA/APAC Presentations team, delivering on strategic and tactical execution of presentation production, creating effective product pitchbooks in support of prospect, client, and consultant driven opportunities across channels. In this role, you will lead a team of marketing managers to create, develop and manage pitchbooks that drive audience specific and impactful messaging that promote strategy and firm strengths and differentiators in alignment with our brand. The Senior Presentations Manager, EMEA drives global cross-functional collaboration and influence that reflects partnership with Investments, Distribution and Operations.How you'll spend your time
- Drive, enhance and support product marketing alignment with the needs of local and global distribution and investment teams.
- Direct the execution of timely and high quality pitchbooks in support our products and strategies
- Ensure the presentation team’s on-time delivery against deadlines in support of prospects and clients.
- Drive team action and engagement with key business partners to align on messaging at the product, strategy and brand level across materials.
- Communicate results to leadership and work across business units to drive opportunities for continuous tactical and strategic improvement.
- Support and execute on opportunities for global content alignment across presentations.
- Understand our investment strategies and translate our key differentiators.
- Communicate and partner effectively to lead the team and work with business partners throughout the organization.
- Work with compliance teams and marketing governance to proactively manage risk and ensure the team adheres to applicable business and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Review presentation materials as final approver in support of the team's production
- Ability to build, strengthen and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, globally (across distribution, investment, compliance, marketing, etc.)
- Take initiative to drive results with marketing operations, processes, and content that consistently meets the needs of the business.
- Foster a team environment that encourages participation, innovation, and exploration on ways to continuously improve.
- Effectively manage and lead through change.
- Drive innovation and identify opportunities for improvement throughout our production process and systems.
- Clearly articulate vision and impact of the team’s strategic direction to drive influence and understanding across stakeholders.
- Build and develop talent and manage performance of assigned team(s).
- Bachelor’s degree or above preferred
- Prior experience in asset management
- Intermediary and institutional investor experience
- In-depth knowledge of investment and ability to keep current on industry trends
- Experience managing individuals and/or teams
- Skilled at Microsoft Office tools, notably PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Project management experience
- Experience working with content management/production tools such as Seismic, Vermillion, Pega, Accent Technologies, etc.
