Key Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the full cycle of export and import shipments across multiple transport modes (air, sea).
· Completing MAWB & HAWBs
· Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers, ensuring the best possible prices and service levels.
· Provide accurate quotations and pricing for shipments.
· Organise and arrange collections and deliveries
· Handle all necessary documentation for customs clearance, compliance, and shipment tracking.
· Liaise with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.
· Arranging A-Z of export shipments globally
· Creating job file on in house system, keeping accurate and detailed records
· Develop effective relationships with customers and suppliers for an effective and efficient service and communicating with clients regarding their shipment progress
· Sending proof of exports/imports to clients
· Support and cover import processes
· Communicating with sales and operations team throughout the day
· Provide administration assistance to team
· Provide assistance throughout the business as and when required
· Answering phonesExperience/Skills required
· Previous experience in multimodal freight forwarding, with a focus on both export and imports
· Strong understanding of customs procedures and international shipping regulations.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
· Operational and sales (business development) experience is an advantage
· Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
· ASM Sequioa and CDS knowledge
