We’re looking for a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly team in Portsmouth.About the Role:You will work closely with the Year 6 class teacher to:Support pupils with their learning in class, in small groups, or one-to-oneHelp prepare pupils for end-of-Key-Stage assessments (SATs)Assist in delivering engaging and challenging lessonsPromote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional developmentHelp create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environmentWe’re Looking For Someone Who:Has experience working in a Key Stage 2 classroom (ideally Year 6)Is confident supporting learning in English and MathsHas excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWorks well as part of a team and shows initiativeHas a calm, patient, and positive approach to working with childrenWe Offer:A welcoming and supportive school communityExperienced staff who will support your developmentA well-resourced and vibrant learning environmentEnthusiastic pupils who are eager to learnHow to Apply:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
