Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership children's are recruiting for a Children's Service Manager (Health). Across North West Glasgow you will be managing the Health Visiting Service and School Nursing services, delivering the Universal Pathway, managing and implementing the School Nursing service specification and managing the Infant Feeding team for Glasgow city. The post holder will be part of the North West and citywide integrated management teams alongside Family Nurse Partnership, Social Work, School Nursing and Immunisations.You may also be required to manage any hosted services or thematic children's service developments on behalf of Greater Glasgow and Clyde as part of the broader team.The post holder will manage staff, be accountable for all aspects of service delivery and responsible for budget and physical resources for children services within the locality.This requires compassionate leadership, innovative thinking, a strong value base and a drive to deliver the best possible outcomes for Glasgow's children by ensuring: the delivery of quality, effective and responsive care and support services;
  • promotion of service delivery that both recognises and minimises health inequalities;
  • working in partnership with services and agencies;
  • promoting service delivery for the most vulnerable children and families;
  • clinical, financial and staff governance standards are met;
  • local and board wide agreed outcomes are met.
DIMENSIONS
  • Approximately 200 staff covering 6 Health Centres in the North West and citywide School Nursing teams
  • Line management for the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Infant Feeding Service
