
Rotoflow Commercial Manager - Europe

- Lead the development of specific Rotoflow Turboexpander sales in existing and developing markets.
- The Commercial Manager will primarily focus on Europe and Africa opportunities for Rotoflow’s New Equipment (NE) and Repairs, Spares and Services (RSS) businesses in addition to support for Air Products’ regional opportunities.
- Apply strategic customer relationships and market knowledge to achieve further technical and performance capabilities to drive sales growth.
- Provide updates to Rotoflow’s leadership on existing and emerging market segments, become the organizations expert on regional requirements along with setting sales & margin targets for the region.
- Maintain and grow sales programs, plans and targets to achieve annual Order Intake goals for the business in alignment with overall Rotoflow Organization strategies & objectives.
- Provide input into annual Operating Plan and participation in monthly Sales Reviews.
- Apply market feedback and competitive intelligence to support Rotoflow’s development of competitive, differentiated, products and services while identifying emerging markets to increase product sales.
- Developing collaborative working relationships with Rotoflow partners (Operations, Product, Supply Chain and Centre of Excellence), or other broader Air Products organizations on a case-by-case basis.
- Build and foster strong relationships with customers that enable Rotoflow to be in a strong position to win profitable business.
- Establish deliverables to streamline the opportunity development process and ensure Rotoflow is able to complete successfully.
- Support for the Rotoflow marketing team in the development & implementation of a global marketing plan.
- Support the decision-making processes that stakeholders apply to ensure Rotoflow exceeds customer expectations on quote to bid turnaround times.
- Support excellence in Commercial Management to deliver proposals and sales of Rotoflow equipment meeting scope, schedule, budget and performance.
- Develop and implement plans to ensure early engagement in targeted opportunities.
- Implement feedback and lesson learned from won and lost proposals to improve Rotoflow’s sales and product offerings.
- Use Salesforce along with necessary tools and systems to ensure functional excellence and global commonality and consistency across all group subject areas.
- Lead Contract reviews with support from central functions (Legal, Tax, Insurance, IP) to establish agreed terms and conditions with customers.
- Strives to protect Rotoflow’s industry leading Safety performance.
- Self-motivated, organized with a proficiency to plan, organize, prioritize, establish targets, and support of the company’s business objectives.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse partners at various management levels within the organization.

- Strong and proven negotiation and claim resolution skills.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering, or other related subject area.
- Strong business development and commercial experience, including demonstrated knowledge of accounting and finance procedures/practices
- Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering or production organizations.
- Prior experience with sales, application engineering or business development in a manufactured equipment, industrial gases or similar industries is a plus.
- Ability to learn and understand commercial contract terms, legal procedures and intellectual property management.
- Ability to travel domestically & internationally (25-35%).
