- Location: Fully remote, with travel to High Wycombe and Wimborne offices as required
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Annual Bonus: 10%
- Stock Management (Approx. £2.5M): A significant portion of your focus will be on managing stock levels, ensuring that materials are always available to meet production needs. With all supplier contracts already in place, you will ensure that orders are placed six months in advance, avoiding any supply issues and ensuring consistency. Negotiation is minimal in this part of the role.
- Raw Material Procurement (Approx. £1M): The remaining budget will be used to source raw materials, such as steel, aluminium, machinery tools, etc., for two separate manufacturing units within the group. Again, while the purchasing is key, minimal negotiation is required due to established contracts.
- Supplier Management & Coordination: Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient material management.
- Procurement Strategy & Reporting: Oversee the procurement process, track spend, and generate reports to ensure purchasing activities align with business needs.
- Operational Efficiency: Maintain high levels of efficiency by ensuring all materials are ordered and delivered on time, optimising costs where possible, and avoiding any disruptions in production.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment.

- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Good understanding of inventory management and lean manufacturing principles.
