Do you have coaching, instructing, leadership, or mentoring experience that could inspire young people in the classroom?Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across South Wales. You do not need to be a qualified teacher – if you have the right skills, personality, and presence, we will support you to step into the role.The Role:Cover Supervisors are unqualified teachers who step in to deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils stay on task
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing feedback to teachers on lesson progress
- Supporting students’ learning in other classes when not covering lessons
- Sports coaching or fitness instruction
- Youth work or mentoring
- Armed forces or cadet training
- Performing arts, outdoor education, or activity leadership
- Team leaders or workplace trainers
- University graduates of school subjects
- Competitive daily rates: £110 - £120 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
