One of our partner secondary schools in Tonypandy (CF40) is looking for a full-time Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join their team.No formal qualifications? No problem — we value your attitude and willingness to learn over certificates.About the Role:
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will:
  • Support pupils aged 11–16, including those with SEN such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
  • Work closely with teachers to manage challenging behaviour in and out of the classroom
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support, helping students engage with learning and develop key skills
  • Promote positive behaviour strategies and help pupils with emotional regulation
Who Should Apply?
This role is perfect if you:
  • Have patience, resilience, and strong communication skills
  • Have experience in care, youth work, behaviour support, mentoring, or similar fields
  • Want to gain valuable experience in education with a clear pathway for development
✅ Requirements (We’ll Support You):
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • Two references covering the last 2 years
