- Develop innovative teaching strategies to engage and support learners with varied abilities.
- Monitor and track learners' progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the English curriculum.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain adherence to safeguarding policies to ensure learners' safety and well-being.
- Proven experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English with measurable outcomes.
- Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Qualified UK teacher (e.g., DET, DTTLS, PGCE) with up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.
- Competent in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and digital learning tools.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to inspiring learners.
