- Ability to gain and maintain competence in relevant clinical skills, pertinent to IV therapy.
- Demonstrate understanding of evidence-based practice
- Working knowledge of IT systems
- Relevant Post Registration Experience - IV drug administration, Cannulation
- Community Nursing experience
- Able to communicate accurately in all forms including verbal, written and IT
- Proven ability to develop and maintain working relationships with other professionals
- Evidence of being able to work as part of a team
- Ability to gain and maintain competence in relevant clinical skills pertinent to IV therapy
- An understanding of when to use clinical judgement
- An understanding of when to ask for assistance
- Background knowledge of the issues within the primary care and community setting
