Connect Driver Solutions - one of the most trusted driving and transport recruitment agencies in the UK - is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Driver for a for a variety of contracts across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.What's on offer?
  • Location: Newcastle & surrounding areas
  • Pay: £14 to £20 per hour - paid weekly via PAYE
  • Schedule: Day, night, part-time, ad hoc and full-time roles available
  • Start Date: Immediate start available
Whether you're looking for regular driving work or something more flexible, we have a role to suit you. Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will include, but not limited to:
  • Operate Class 2 (CAT C / LGV2 / HGV2) vehicles for multi-drop and general haulage
  • Complete pre-use vehicle checks and report defects
  • Follow Working Time Directive, driver hours, and rest regulations
  • Provide excellent service to clients and maintain professional conduct on the road
To be successful in this Class 2 Driver role, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:
  • A valid Class 2 (CAT C) licence
  • Minimum 6 months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles
  • A valid CPC (Driver Qualification Card) and digital tachograph card
  • No more than 6 penalty points - we cannot accept DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes
