CLASS 2 DRIVERHours: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 5.00 AM STARTPay Rate: £14.00 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dudley, West Midlands. Day to Day Duties:Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
  • Multi drop experience and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Flexibility is essential and early morning starts will be required.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Deliveries will be a mixture of customer mechanical offload and manual driver offload.
Essential Skills:As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
  • Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
  • Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category C vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
  • A forklift/combi-lift licence would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training:
  • Industry related training and support throughout your assignment
