£DOE per annum, Study Support, BUPA Medical Cash Plan, Life Assurance, Plus Pension, 30 Days' Holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays (rising with service)We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our Head Office Finance team in Blisworth.The ideal candidate will be either qualified by experience or working towards a qualification in ACCA, CIMA or AAT. This person should also have audit experience and have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.Here at Olleco we are on a mission to help protect the planet, working together with thousands of foodservice businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by hundreds and thousands of tonnes.The Assistant Accountant joining our team will help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet.The role will include
- Preparation of weekly managements accounts with KPI's and supporting information
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis of weekly accounts v monthly accounts v Budgets
- Bank reconciliations / Cash at Hand reconciliations
- Weekly / Monthly Payroll Analysis and Journals
- Calculation and scheduling of accruals and prepayments
- Preparation of Balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances as required
- Support finance team in preparation of Annual Budgets / Forecasts
- Internal audits to sites to maintain/strengthen controls
- Assisting with Year End Audit (KPMG Auditors)
- Producing Supporting information for taxation computation on a monthly basis
- The ideal candidate will be either QBE or working towards a qualification in ACCA,CIMA or AAT.
- Previous experience within a similar role, working independently to complete monthly management accounts.
- Excellent IT skills including MS Excel.
- Great communications skills/ability to relay key information to colleagues and internal/ external customers.
- Have strong attention to detail with a high accuracy.
