ASSEST ACCOUNTANTLooking for your next finance career? Comfortable with spreadsheets, asset reporting and making numbers add up? We’re looking for a Finance Assistant who’s confident with data, brings accuracy to everything they do, and wants to grow with a business that values precision, progress, and purpose.About this RoleThis role supports the financial management of Dawsongroup’s truck and trailer assets. You’ll handle key tasks that keep our books balanced and our insight sharp – all while learning from some of the best in the business.
  • Manage fixed asset records from purchase to disposal
  • Reconcile large datasets and produce accurate monthly reports
  • Support month-end processes, including depreciation, accruals and VAT
  • Assist with Dawsondirect management accounts and reporting
  • Champion financial best practice and process improvements
About YouYou’re already working in finance and looking for your next step. You bring structure to your work, notice the small details, and are happy digging into the numbers to find what matters.
  • Part-qualified (or working towards) ACCA or CIMA
  • Clear understanding of double entry bookkeeping
  • Confident working with large data sets
  • Comfortable posting journals and owning key admin tasks
  • Willing to take responsibility and grow your knowledge every day
