Bateman Skips part of the RSK Group have a new opportunity for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing team in Bristol, UK.The Role:To operate a company vehicle travelling to local areas making skip/RORO/grab/tipper deliveries and collections as directed by the office.Be responsible to maintain a safe working environment and ensure as reasonably practical that safe working practices are adopted by employees in this work environment. Work in compliance with the codes of conduct, regulations and policies of Bateman SkipResponsibilities:
  • To deliver and collect skips from customers as directed.
  • To complete pre and post safety checks on your vehicle in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines, reporting any defects promptly.
  • To operate your vehicle legally in accordance with VOSA and DVLA guidelines Adhere to required efficiency levels.
  • Follow all required health & safety procedures.
  • Other tasks as may be required by site management to assist in the smooth, safe and compliant running of the business and operation.
Essential Requirements/Skills:Class 2 license.Driver CPC qualification card.Attention to detail.Ability to work as a team.Ability to work under pressure.Physically fit due to frequent moving in and of cabs.Punctual & Reliable.Good driving record.Desired Skills:
  • Waste Experience.
  • Skips Experience.
Salary/Benefits:
  • Salary £33,670 per annum based on a working week of 46.25 hours.
