CCH Group is looking for an IT Desktop and Asset Manager to join our IT Service Delivery Team in Altrincham.Job DescriptionIn this vital role, you'll be responsible for overseeing and supporting all aspects of end-user computing and telephony, while leading the strategy and lifecycle management of IT assets across the business. You'll be responsible for line managing two team members, providing guidance, support, and regular performance feedback.
Leading the strategy for IT hardware and asset management across the businessKeeping our asset inventory accurate, up-to-date, and audit-readyImproving systems and processes to reduce waste and drive efficiencySupporting end users with desktop, hardware, and software issuesManaging IT equipment lifecycle, procurement, and stock levelsProducing insightful reports and identifying opportunities for cost savingsCollaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth asset recovery and complianceCreating clear documentation and supporting project deliveryQualificationsWhat we're looking for:At least 3 years' experience managing desktop systems and IT assetsBackground in a fast-paced IT service environmentConfident working independently and managing vendors and suppliersSkilled in maintaining large asset databases with a strong eye for data accuracyComfortable bringing fresh ideas and driving change across teamsStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindsetSolid knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing modelsHands-on experience with tools like SOTI (or similar MDM), Active Directory (on-prem & Azure), and SCCMExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAdditional InformationWho We Are:At CCH Group, our vision is to be the best place to work in care.
