It is an exciting time to join the trust, with Midland Metropolitan University Hospital recently opened. The chemotherapy team have recently moved into a beautiful new building on the Sandwell site and are looking to expand their team.We are looking for dynamic and motivated chemotherapy trained nurses to join us. You should be competent in cannulation and phlebotomy and have excellent communication skills.The unit is currently entirely nurse led, so prescribing skills would be an advantage, but a willingness to undertake assessment and prescribing courses is essential. In the absence of the Ward/Department Manager ensure the delivery of a quality service through leadership and efficient deployment of available resources.To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual programmes of nursing care based on agreed models of care and in consideration of individual need and delegating effectively to others as required.Organise method of care delivery within the ward/department, allocating, prioritising and delegating effectively.
