As the dedicated Campus Experience Team onsite, we coordinate cross campus events including welcome fairs, industry/career talks, street food markets, sports days and music festivals. We are dedicated to building a brilliant, shared campus for everyone who uses Republic.Our team is headed by our Head of Campus Experience and in your role you will work alongside the Senior Events Manager and Senior Social Impact and Partnerships Manager.Our team are employed by Trilogy Campus Ltd (linked to Trilogy Real Estate LLP) and we are contracted to deliver campus experience work to Republic. In our work we are supported by The Head of Campus at Trilogy.About you:You should have experience in a marketing role, a passion for digital and social media, content creation, and an understanding of trends that resonate with students, tenants, and partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to adapt your tone and style to suit a variety of audiences and platforms.You'll need to be highly organised and confident managing multiple projects and deadlines, balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding needs on Campus
  • Work with the Senior Events Manager, the Senior Social Impact Manager and the Head of Campus Experience to understand the evolving needs for marketing and communications work on campus.
  • Collate, analyse and share data from the Campus - such as footfall, university term dates, university events programmes, types of students (under or post graduate, international or domestic) and enrolment numbers.
Coordination work
  • Contribute to the creation of the Team's overarching Annual Strategy (September - September) for the Campus Experience work onsite.
  • Work with the Head of Campus Experience to support the creation of an annual Marketing & Communications programme (September to September) and associated budget for the Campus, aimed at ensuring students and staff are engaged with life on Campus and that the Republic's work is shared confidently externally.
  • Maintain a detailed tracker document for all marketing & communications work.
Marketing and Communications Delivery
  • Plan, create, and deliver content for Republic's digital platforms, including the website, digital screens, WhatsApp channels and day-to-day social media management.
  • Produce excellent written copy and visual communication materials, with strong attention to detail and the ability to convey information clearly and creatively.
  • Produce and distribute hard-copy marketing materials across the campus and university tenants.
  • Produce photo and video content to promote campus events and amenities.
  • Ensure all content and materials align with Republic's strategic plan, brand, and content guidelines.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to enquiries through the Republic's digital communication channels.
  • Promote team impact both internally and externally to communicate value and position as authority in the sector.
  • Source new stories and content through interviews, videography and desk research.
Stakeholder Management
  • With universities: build strong relationships with marketing and comms counterparts (or equivalent) to maximise engagement - ensuring that communication campaigns are delivered through universities' own channels as well as our own.
  • With onsite retailers and charities: build relationships with owners and onsite staff, to amplify their offer and ensure Republic's marketing and communications work support them to thrive.
  • With external stakeholders such as the Council or local developers: where appropriate, collaborate to design and execute effective communication campaigns.
  • With external suppliers: work effectively with external suppliers to deliver campaigns in a timely and professional manner.
Playing an active role in the Campus Experience Team
  • Place an active role in supporting the wider work of the Campus Experience Team, supporting the team where needed on both events' attendance and community engagement communications.
  • Remain flexible to undertake other duties within the broad remit of the position.
  • Attend staff and project meetings as required, contributing proactively.
  • Liaise closely with the site management teams at Republic when commissioning any external marketing or comms activities - such as filming onsite.
  • Maintain high health and safety standards in the working environment and for the delivery of any marketing & communications work.
  • Where appropriate, represent Republic at internal and external events (e.g. Open Days, conferences).
Monitoring, reporting and celebrating
  • Ensure your Work Plan is kept up to date with monthly and quarterly targets, in line with the Annual Strategy for the Campus Experience work onsite.
  • Monitor, record, and analyse engagement data from Republic's communications.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends to ensure the Republic remains competitive in marketing practices.
  • Stay updated on changes in marketing practices to ensure a modern and effective service strategy.
  • Contribute to reports to the landlord team and Trilogy Real Estate.
Finance & Administration
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices relating to your workstream.
  • Maintain up-to-date budget and spend tracking for your work area.
  • Liaise with external providers and suppliers (e.g., printers, content management systems) as needed.
  • Maintain and improve professional competencies through continuous development.
  • Abide by all organisational policies, codes of conduct, and practices.

  • Managing social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring engagement.

Education/Training
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent professional experience).
Key Competencies we are looking for: * Organisational Skills: Ability to coordinate multiple aspects of event planning and marketing, with attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Creativity & Initiative: Capacity to develop unique concepts and support visually engaging and impactful events. Competencies in Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Canva, and a passion for visual identity.
  • Communication: Excellent design skills and strong verbal and written communication skills for drafting event briefs, liaising with stakeholders, and producing social media and digital content.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including vendors, retailers, and university partners.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on varied tasks to support events and marketing goals.
  • Interests: An interest in and / or understanding of the HE sector and the student experience and built environment.
  • Personal: An enthusiastic team player, confident in creating and developing relationships with a range of stakeholders, and keen to throw yourself into our friendly, small team - we can't wait to meet you!
