- Teaching and Assessing qualification
- Evidence of ongoing dynamic professional development and application to practice
- APLS/ EPALS or equivalent
- Post-registration experience in general Paediatrics.
- Experience and evidence of effectiveness in co-ordinating and managing patient care
- Ability to prioritise, organise workload and delegate and supervise tasks appropriately
- Ability to analyse, resolve issues and make sound judgements on clinical issues, using initiative, whilst demonstrating an awareness of own limits.
- Evidence of implementing and managing change
- Experience of handling adverse incidents and complaints.
- Evidence of previous experience and efficacy in mentorship, teaching and assessing
- Experience of handling adverse incidents and complaints.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Advanced competency in nursing skills i.e., CPAP, Central line management, Advanced Paediatric Life Support
