We’re here to create and harness knowledge, to deliver opportunity for everyone.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Platform Developer to join the thriving Research Centre for Arts and Wellbeing at Edge Hill University working on a UKRI funded study titled Arts4us: Working together to scale up place-based arts initiatives that support the mental health of children and young people.You will provide quality research and development support to an enthusiastic team of academics leading research tasks within the project, including designing, implementing and deploying an accessible digital platform where the data from evidence-based local arts activities will be pre-processed, stored and analysed to provide cutting-edge visualisation techniques, as well as suitable predicative analytics approaches.Please note full time applications and part time applications (0.5fte) will be considered.For informal enquiries about this vacancy, you may wish to contact: Prof Ella Pereira, Professor of Computing, . or Prof Vicky Karkou, Director of the Research Centre for Arts and Wellbeing, .About YouAs a Digital Platform Developer, you will have:
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience in designing and executing software development using Agile development methodology.
  • Experience in Full-Stack development including database technologies, design and implementation of front-end systems, based on cyber-safe frameworks.
  • Knowledge of responsive web development and related technologies.
