Salary: Up to £45,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.This is a Part time role for 24 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.Duties of this role include:
- Undertake expert assessment and treatment of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, pre/postnatal conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plans, including internal assessment, biofeedback, manual therapy, and exercise rehabilitation.
- Act autonomously in clinical decision-making and management of a complex, specialist caseload.
- Act as the clinical lead for pelvic health physiotherapy, ensuring service quality, consistency, and alignment with best practice.
- Develop and implement clinical pathways, patient education materials, and outcome measures.
- Lead or contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and service evaluation projects.
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Extensive post-registration experience in women’s, men’s, and pelvic health physiotherapy.
- Recognised postgraduate training in pelvic health or continence physiotherapy.
- Advanced clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment skills.
- Experience in service development, teaching, or supervision.
- Membership of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) group or equivalent.
- Independent prescriber or training in injection therapy (if applicable to setting).
- Experience in private healthcare or specialist pelvic health clinics.
- Involvement in audit, research, or clinical guideline development.
