Brightwork is currently recruiting for Temporary HGV Class 1 Drivers, for our prestigious client, based in Cumbernauld.A minimum of 6 months experience in HGV driving is required for this role.Various start times are available, and a rota will be provided if successful, with preference given to those who can work Friday through to Monday shifts (11 hr shifts, with 3 hours paid at overtime rate per shift).PAYE rates as below:Days - £19.21 Per Hour
Nights - £21.14 Per Hour
O/T (After 8 hours daily) - £24.97 Per Hour
Bank Holidays Days - £38.43 Per HourYour Time at Work
The role mainly consists of Class 1 Trunking operations;- Transporting goods to various store retail locations across Scotland, including some unloading of pallets/cages/rails.
- Guarantee punctual and secure delivery of products, while strictly following traffic and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines with effectiveness.
- Accurately document deliveries and fulfil essential paperwork obligations.Experience Required- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver (6 months+ ideal)
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
