Brightwork is currently recruiting for Temporary HGV Class 1 Drivers, for our prestigious client, based in Cumbernauld.A minimum of 6 months experience in HGV driving is required for this role.Various start times are available, and a rota will be provided if successful, with preference given to those who can work Friday through to Monday shifts or Thursday through to Sunday (10 hr shifts, with overtime starting after 8 hours)PAYE rates as below:
Nights - £22.50 Per Hour
O/T (After 8 hours daily) - £29.12 Per Hour
Weekend Rate - £24.50 Per HourThe role mainly consists of Class 1 Trunking operations;- Transporting goods to various store retail locations across Scotland, including some unloading of pallets/cages/rails.
- Guarantee punctual and secure delivery of products, while strictly following traffic and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to organise deliveries and achieve deadlines with effectiveness.
- Accurately document deliveries and fulfil essential paperwork obligations.Experience Required :- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant CPC certification and Tacho card.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver (6 months+ ideal)
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance.
- No more than 6 points on license.Benefits:
