- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective compliance programme that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to relevant authorities in a timely manner.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure compliance-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- To review and update Policy documentation, as and when required
- Prepare and issue FCA and Lloyds of London reporting in a timely fashion
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulations affecting the insurance sector, ensuring the organisation remains compliant at all times
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies that mitigate compliance risks.
- Proven experience in compliance management within the insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to insurers or MGA’s.
- Experience conducting internal audits and preparing regulatory reports.
- Strong knowledge of managing quality processes and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
