What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading and managing audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied portfolio
  • Supervising and mentoring audit and accounts team members, ensuring high standards
  • Reviewing working papers, financial statements and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Overseeing workloads, running regular team meetings and reporting progress to senior leadership
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders – the key contact for audit and accounting
  • Monitoring budgets and delivering audit findings with practical recommendations
RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with strong experience within an accountancy practice
  • A track record of managing audit projects and leading teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (FRS 102 and UK GAAP)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident, organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A full UK driving licence (for occasional travel when required)
