- Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries, ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings - both in-person and virtual.
- Review statutory financial statements, including small company, medium company, and charity accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting standards.
- Lead client onboarding processes and coordinate the allocation of work across the team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports required by external stakeholders.
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery within the practice.
- Oversee billing and debtor management across the client portfolio and wider department, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with partners to support strategic planning and business development.
- ACA/ACCA Qualified or QBE.
- Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice (a minimum of 2 years).
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
- Commercial awareness and confidence in managing client relationships.
