Our client, a leading education provider in the Hayes area, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lecturer/Assessor in Early Years to support the delivery and assessment of early years qualifications. This role involves both teaching in the classroom and assessing learners in the workplace across full-time study programmes and apprenticeships.Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Early Years qualifications from Level 2 to Level 3.
- Assess Work-Based Learning (WBL) and Apprenticeship learners to determine occupational competency.
- Monitor and support learners' progress across their study programmes.
- Deliver across a range of courses including:
- NCFE Level 1 Diploma in Caring for Children
- NCFE Level 2 Technical Diploma for Early Years Practitioners
- T Level Early Years Educator (including Assisted Teaching Pathway)
- NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeships for Early Years and Teaching Assistants
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Teaching Assistant (degree in a relevant subject preferred)
- Assessor qualification (L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent)
- Teaching qualification at Level 5 (or willingness to work towards this, with support provided)
- Experience teaching and assessing in the Early Years sector
- Minimum of 3 years' recent professional experience in Early Years education and/or care
- Support in obtaining a teaching qualification if not already held
