Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 3 PM to 12 AM
Location:SE London & Across all client offices and HQ (primarily Central London)Must hold a full UK driver's licence and have access to a vehicleExperienced in a management or supervisory roleStrong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team support and daily operationsExperience working night shiftsDesirable: First aid trainingMust hold a full UK driver's licence and have access to a vehicleComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamPhysically fit and able to handle manual tasksConfident travelling alone through Central London at nightComfortable using basic tech tools: Excel, Google Drive, apps, iPadHigh attention to detail and pride in maintaining standardsAble to make quick, confident decisions under pressureWe are looking for an experienced and confident manager to fulfil the role of Night Operations Manager. The purpose of this role is to take ownership of the success and smooth operation of our Night Teams, including both Dedicated Services and Logistics.This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and manage teams effectively, while also being hands-on and actively involved in the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will lead by example, balancing operational leadership with direct participation in team activities.Roles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for two teams: Dedicated Services & LogisticsConduct thorough handovers between day and night teamsRun nightly scrum meetings and delegate tasks accordinglyIdentify and solve operational problems quicklyTrain new personnel alongside supervisors and cover shifts as neededWork alongside the team to uphold quality and service standardsUse Monday.com for communication, reporting errors, requesting adjustments, and coordinating with other departmentsAct as the first point of contact for team queries during the nightPlace product orders through internal systemsRestock and maintain consumables to ensure freshness and availabilityEnsure proper display of confectionery and fresh fruit per client standardsMaintain cleanliness across work areas, kitchens, fridges, and coffee machinesConduct regular audits and quality checks at client sitesBuild and manage staff rotas for night drivers and Dedicated ServicesOversee BrightHR administration (e.g. clock-ins, absences)Lead performance and probation reviewsSubmit detailed end-of-shift reportsProvide cover for sick leave and holidays as requiredTravel across client sites in Central London during night hoursBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
