It is now part of the wider CPC Foods Group and the international food company Premium Food Group.We are recruiting a Quality Auditor (QA) to support our growing technical department.In this technical role, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing products against specifications through all stages of production. You will ensure all products conform to quality standards and are to our customers’ specifications.Duties in this role:Perform a wide range of QA activities and functions throughout the manufacturing process, and in different areas of the factory, including the routine inspection and verification of products according to procedure, against specification and to quality standards. This will include internal audits, organoleptic testing and swabbingConduct product inspections off-site as and when requiredAccurately record data relating to product conformity in a timely mannerGeneral administrative tasks for the department including filing and archiving recordsHighlight to management any issue that could compromise food safety, quality or legalityReport any health and safety hazards within working areasEnsure damaged equipment is not used and any defects are reported to engineers immediatelyFully cooperate with site management and the workforceA flexible approach to work in order to meet changing business requirementsCarry out all duties as deemed necessary by managerial or supervisory staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the factoryCompliance with health and safety rules at all timesCompliance with company policies, practices and standard operating proceduresOur ideal candidate:Previous experience in a QA role is essentialExperience working within a fast-moving food manufacturing environmentA good level of written and spoken EnglishExcellent attention to detail and accurate data-recording skillsGood literacy and numeracy skillsAbility to work using initiativeFlexible and adaptableBasic IT skillsWhat we can offer you:Salary £32,21428 days holidayMonday to FridayAccess to Grocery Aid providing emotional, practical and financial supportBenefits and recognition hub - including amazing colleague discounts
