💼 Salary: £55,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Experience)An internationally recognised multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing London-based civils team. This is an excellent opportunity for a chartered or near-chartered engineer looking to take the next step in their career and contribute to a dynamic, expanding team.Currently 10 strong and comprising engineers at all levels-graduates through to principal engineers and the Civils Director-the civils team is projected to grow to 20 members by the end of 2026.About the Role:As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure design across a variety of sectors, including buildings and public realm developments. The team works from early masterplanning through to on-site delivery, handling roads, drainage, and flood risk elements. You'll be involved in a mix of design, technical leadership, client engagement, and project coordination.What You'll Do:
- Deliver civil engineering designs from concept through to construction.
- Produce and review technical reports and specifications.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Design drainage schemes for buildings, highways, and landscape/public realm projects.
- Design highway and pavement layouts associated with building developments.
- Prepare designs and technical submissions for S38, S278, and S104 agreements.
- Use software tools such as AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and Civil 3D for ground modelling, road and drainage design.
- Chartered or actively working towards chartership (ICE or equivalent).
- Proven experience delivering civil engineering designs for infrastructure and development projects.
- Practical knowledge of relevant design software and industry standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships.
