The Neonatal Unit provides Level 2 care to patients and their families within Greater Glasgow and Clyde areas and work in collaboration with other Neonatal Units in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, providing Level 3 care.As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programs of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programs ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients and their families.In the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse or deputy, provide cover to ensure the effective operation of the clinical area and taking charge on shift.You must be a registered nurse, registered child's nurse, registered midwife. Experience in the field of Neonatal Nursing, with Neonatal Nursing Qualified in Specialty is essential.
